Land Lesson
Time: 2-3 hours
Cost: $150

Learn techniques to safely launch, land and fly a kiteboarding kite. You’ll learn on new equipment and the student to instructor ratio will never exceed 3 to 1. Here’s some of what you’ll learn:

Kite Safety
Familiarization with the kiting equipment
How to steer the kite
Safe assisted launching and landing of the kite
Safe Self-launching and self-landing of the kite
Flying the kite in the “wind window”
Tons of pratice using a real "water" kite
Preparation for Water Lesson

Water Lesson
Time: 6 hours
Cost: $350

We will go where the wind is with dedicated jet-ski support. You will learn to control the kite on the water, and how get up on the board. This is our very popular deep water lesson.

Here’s some of what you’ll learn during the lesson:

Water launching
Exceptional kite-control
Use the kite to drag through the water (body dragging) both downwind and upwind
How to get up on the board (water starts)

Full Package
Time: 10 hours
Cost: $450

The full package will get you well on your way to being an independent kiteboarder. The kite rentals will allow you to pracice here at Alameda Beach. Coaches will help you progress rapidly and are available on specific weekends and are included with the rental.
